Anyone who works with SHERAeasy-model knows the principle: design digital models, print, done. The new Print&Click add-on takes this a step further – because now model pairs can be prepared directly for the Amann Girrbach articulator, entirely without plaster.
This is made possible by a partnership between SHERA and Amann Girrbach. Print&Click is available as an add-on for all users of the PRINT and FULL licenses of SHERAeasy-model and integrates seamlessly into the usual workflow: The design process remains unchanged – Print&Click is simply selected as an attachment and the articulator preparation is already included in the plan.
What is SHERAeasy-model?
SHERAeasy-model is SHERA's CAD software for digital model design in dental technology. It can be used to design working models for 3D printing – including dies, adjacent teeth, fixed dies, gingiva, and implant sockets. The software is modular and grows with the needs of the lab: from the upload variant to the full license with full functionality.
Flexible positioning
For alignment in the articulator, the Print&Click add-on offers two options, depending on the initial situation. For a dentate mandibular anterior region, the user defines the incisal point by clicking on the mandible – the model can then be rotated for precise positional adjustment. For an edentulous anterior region, SHERAeasy-model automatically suggests a position that can be freely rotated and moved.
The model pair height can be selected as 40 or 60 mm. The offset of the spacer plates can also be adjusted using a slider - from 2↓ to 3↑ for 40mm height, and from 1↓ to 2↑ for 60mm height.
