"The tub is full" - The advantages of SHERAprint material tubs

Efficient work with SHERA material trays in 3D printing
For precise and reliable results in dental 3D printing, the right material trays are crucial. SHERA material trays offer a durable alternative to conventional film trays thanks to their stable construction, consisting of a glass base, flexible silicone, and a smooth Teflon layer. The robust design with carrying handles and integrated feet facilitates handling and protects the glass base from damage. An integrated RFID chip also improves process reliability, allowing the printer software to store the key data of the material used and ensure compatibility with the calculated print parameters with each new print job.
Cost comparison: SHERA vs. competitors
In addition to their durability, SHERA material trays also offer economic advantages. While the purchase price of a SHERA tray is €290, one tray can handle approximately 200 print jobs, which corresponds to approximately 400 models and approximately 10 liters of material.
In comparison, a competitor's tub costs €93 and is only approved for printing a maximum of 1 liter of material. To process the same amount of material as a SHERA tub (10 liters), 10 tubs would be required, costing a total of €930.
 Conclusion:
A 10-liter SHERA tub costs €290, while the same amount from a comparable competitor costs €930. The savings with SHERA are therefore €640.
Care instructions for a long service life
To ensure that the SHERA material trays reach their full service life, the following points should be observed:
-
Stir gently as needed: If the material has settled, stir it gently. Frequent or unnecessary stirring can impair the quality of the material and the tub.
-
Few material changes: Frequent resin changes increase cleaning effort and can cause faster wear on the tank. Consistent material use protects the surface.
-
No hard residue: If there is hardened resin in the vat, it must be completely removed. Continuing to print with hard particles in the vat can damage the Teflon-silicone layer and lead to print defects.
Perfectly integrated into the digital workflow
In connection with the SHERAprint 3D printers allow SHERA material trays to be optimally integrated into the digital production process. The patented force feedback technology protects the tray and the print object through targeted withdrawal forces. This ensures reliable and, thanks to the sophisticated tray technology, always cost-effective printing, even with varying print volumes.
